well, they only make the long one (drivers side) so you will have different wiper blades. they dont make a short one because a shorter blade wont leave the streaks the latitude wiper resolves.

personally i just buy the cheapest one my local parts store have in stock. you will have to replace them almost just as often.

My passenger-side wiper ('07 hatchback) needs to be replaced. Should I go to the dealer, or go elsewhere? I've never replaced one myself before.

Replacing wipers is one of the easiet things to do. Give it a try, you'll have no problems.

I would buy both the passenger and driver's side blade. As with headlights and tail lights, always replace in pairs.

When I replaced mine with Bosch Excel+ wipers from AutoZone the washer sprayer on the drivers side hits the wiper and not the windshield. Is there anyway to change the washer spray heads, I miss the fan spray of my Taurus. However, now over this winter I have found these wipers suck, the passenger side one doesn't wipe at all if it gets some ice on there and the drivers side gets a big spot that it misses in the middle of the windshield.

I replaced both of mine last week with Anco 31 series. I was able to buy 2 complete pairs for the price of 1 RainX latitude blade. Throw away the adapters that come with the blades, they are not needed. Very easy to change.

Also, if you buy your wipers from AutoZone or Advanced Auto Parts they'll change them out for you right then for free. They aren't that difficult to put on but hey, if I can have someone else do it for me for no cost...then I let them do it.

I took a look at my Nissan dealer here in Quebec for new wiper blades.

They are double priced for same quality compared to some at Canadian Tire.

I bought RainX wiper blades for this winter and I'm pretty impressed of how well they wipe. Better than my oem ones for sure.

I paid 14$ for the long one and 11$ for the short one. At WalMart that is.

Changing a wiper is as easy as changing your shorts by the way. Dont forget to disconnect the battery first. J/k lol

I picked up a pair of Bosch Icon wipers (I went all out I hate streaking and winter slush crap) I just picked up a 24" and a 16"

They fit perfectly small area don't get wiper not a place that I give a crap about, and the passenger side just touches the plastic less that a 1 cm so No interference. Great expensive as hell though but they do last

I also just bought the Anco 31 series blades from Walmart...$5.50 for the 24" and $4.50 for the 15"...The Anco's were a top-rated blade as judged in the April Consumers Reports magazine... They seem to be a nice clean wipe so far...we will see how they are in a few months. I have found that cleaning the windshield with windex before using new blades helps getting the new blades acclimated to the glass.

Those RainX wipers are pretty good. Used to do advertising for them. There are other brands that have blades like it. Good in the rain and won't freeze up like conventional blades. However, if you want something that lasts longer, you might want to look into silicone based blades (instead of rubber). I think PIAA has some. Do a google search for silicone blades.
