Hi guys, I have a "new" used windshield wiper motor that I'd like to test on the bench using a 12v power supply. Does anyone know what terminals I should be grounding and which to apply 12v to?

Hi Yukon, welcome to NICO Club! :bigthumb:

You can check the FSM for your car and it will have the wiring diagram showing positive and negative wires. You can just look at the plug on your old one on the car and determine the same (black wires are indeed ground wires in most applications). Finally, it's a motor, just give it power. Swap terminals and it would rotate in the other direction, so ultimately, it does not matter. The FSM is gold though for many other things. Here is a link:
