I ran into this problem with my 2015 Rogue recently. Been using the wiper fluid a lot this winter season to clear the salt spray off until recently, I noticed nothing coming out anymore. I didn't notice any warnings on the dash saying that I was low on wiper fluid (like most other cars). I added more washer fluid anyways and low and behold, it works again. Did anyone else run into this problem and why the heck is Nissan skimping out on an important sensor like this?

I've owned quite a few vehicles and not one of them had any type of sensor for low washer fluid. Other than my own eyeballs whenever I had the hood up.

I recall an older thread that mentions US models do not have the sensor, but the Canadian models do have it. I have a Canadian one and it does have the warning.

Maybe I'm better off without the sensor then. I'm looking to get All-Season (bug wash and winterized) wiper fluid and have seen mixed reviews about how it damages the fluid level sensor. Since the US Rogues don't have it, I don't have to worry!

That is pretty lame considering that even the owner's manual supplement that came out for my Rogue still mentions that the master warning light comes on for low washer fluid.

Is this something that was removed for 2015 that I might still have on my 2014?

As a previous poster pointed out, Canadian models are equipped with warnings while US versions are not. Since the manual is printed for both countries, I guess that's why they included the "(if so equipped)" part in the manual. Similar to how there's a section on an AWD/2WD knob but all we have is an AWD lock button.

That would have been tolerable, but they skipped the "if so equipped" part making it look like that sensor is present in all versions.

It's a small nuisance, but crap like that bothers me when they put out an amended manual that states the remote window roll up feature isn't actually present, and the locking glove box isn't actually present, but don't mention that the sensor might not be present.
