OK ive removed the nut, and tried the puller type tools(which it actually bent the arms on!), pry bars, foul language, everything just short of a hammer. But cannot get these frigging arms off my 92 Sentra. Am i missing something here? I even soaked the studs with PB Blaster...to no avail.

try folding the arm in the upright position. if id doesnt just slide off then look for a little tab that you pull out to release it on the side near the bottom where it mounts

I remove the nut and I take the palm of my hand and I push down on top of the pivot point where the spring is and this works every time DO NOT USE A SCREW DRIVER TO PRY this will break the windshield.

Hey thanks guys! I used a puller and of all things a hammer:). I tightened the puller up as far as it would go without slipping off and then tapped the edge of the arms with the hammer and they popped right off....I guess 12yrs without removing them they just needed a BFH love tap...hehe.
