Windshield Water Reservoir Leaking

Hi, I have a 94 Q45 and I noticed the windshield reservoir is leaking water . I lie down underneath the car on passenger side and remove the plastic underhood guard and saw the water dripping slowly from the connection betwwen the plastic reservoir and the black thing which look like a pump to me. Has anybody experienced this before and is there a quick way to fix this problem without replacing the reservoir unit. Thank you for the input and sharing.

Drain it dry and check to see if there are any cracks. Check the autoparts store for a suitable silicone sealant to fix either cracks or dried out seal. I can't say for certain but I'd imagine that there is a rubber seal between the reservoir and the pump that is likely to blame.

just take the res out. you can get at it pretty easy by taking out the drivers side headlight.
