Just recently my left windshield washer has stopped working. I traced the problem to somewhere up in the actual nozzle itself, but I don't know how to remove it. Any help?

Thanks. =)

Or attach the hose that goes into it into an air pump or air compressor, and blow it out.

Try blowing into it, if clear it may be something else but compressor and toothpic both good. Do toothpic first then do compression on it.

Good luck.

Okay thanks for the replies, I ended up taking it out, it is just a couple of plastic catches. I still haven't been able to clear it though. completed clogged and i don't know what it is, so i may have to just replace my washers. Maybe I'll get some nice ricey LED ones... ;D

You know whats pretty cool, to turn the washers sideways and spray people as you drive by.

Okay, fixed. Embarrassingly enough, my dad got it unclogged. He used a syringe (without the needle) to repeatedly squirt water into both sides of the nozzle, until it started to loosen up and the stuff eventually came out. The stuff, by the way, was algae. Moral of the story? Keep your damn window washer reservoir clean.

you can try, instead of toothpics..., useing the dentist tools. craftsman makes some that i bought. plus they really help with getting Orings out and stuf like that (i use em mainly for paintball and RC)
