I use a .025 wire feeler gauge to repoint the nozzle. I'd like something bigger, and I ever stumble across a #71 drill bit (.026), I'll try that. .028 (next feel gauge larger, and next drill bit size) is too big.
It will take a bit of force to break the nozzle loose from the hard water stuff that's accumulated.
Check whether things are pointed right with the engine running. The slight extra voltage makes a difference.
The nozzles have two positions: too high, and too low.
