Windshield scratch!!!

So I'm driving on the freeway and then this pick up truck with uncovered load of gravel speeds up in front of me causing particles to fly onto my windshield, thus, leaving little pits on the surface. Now my question is: What should I get to remove little pits and scratches? I tried using the "Quixx" scratch paste today but it didn't do much to remedy this. Someone have any better ideas?

call the mobile window repairs, i'm sure they could fix it, and if not, then they could sell you a new window, which you probably have to do anyway
