Has anyone had an issue with a new windshield and getting the rubber molding at the top of the windshield straight. Mine has been back twice and they still cannot get it either straight or without "dimples". Even worse today it rained and the driver's wiper hits the left body molding when operating so presumably they had the wipers of and they are not put back properly!!!!

I do not have the rubber molding issue, nor do I have issue with a new windshield - I still have the OEM.

What happened to your windshield, since yours is a 2007?

I know in Texas, the dealers sub-contract the windshield repair out to other companies. Had a windshield installed recently for my wife's GX470, the dealer wanted to charged an arm/leg. What I did was google and found a company that been in the windshield installation business for quite some time. Called them up and asked for an experience installer with over 5+yrs of experience installing the windshield. Quoted me for the rain sensor windshield with installation - only $270.00 installed with 1 yr warranty vs. the dealer's $700 price tag. Long story short, the installer did a great job, no wind noise, etc...make sure you test drive the vechicle after the installation. BTW..the installer came to my work to performed the installation. Didn't miss a minute of my work.
