It would have helped me out a couple days ago now it expired.  Oh well I guess I should have checked earlier.  Of course it might not have fit my truck either.

Yeah I could see what he wanted for it.  I wonder if it would fit my 1971 Datsun 521?

I tried to talk to him but they say I need a credit card number on file to contact other members like that.  That reall sucks can anyone else try to help and reach them to see how much and if it will fit my 521

Yeah I know especially when that is all I need to get my truck back going again.  I really would like to have it.  Check out my Datsun before it was wrecked on www.cardomain.com  my user name is the same as here, havenlamar.

kinda funny...he doesn't know what he has...thinks it will fit a 510 or 720 truck!

Now he wants to charge a "20.00 pick up fee" or a crating fee of 30!

And I just picked one up that was almost 4 times as much money and it took me 8 YEARS to find it!

Thanks for the tip. I bought it, now I just get to pay twice that to get it to me. I'll insure it well. Considering you can get 320 and 620 glass still I never would have dreamed the 520 stuf was NLA when I cut mine out and threw it in the dumpster. It had bad enough cracks on the drivers side it was not even driveable. At least now I can put the glas back in and put it back outside while I look for everything else I need to restore it.

Total bust!! He emailed me back and said the glass was cracked when h epulled it out of his garage to box it up for me. So I am back to square one. 1971 truck-no windshield at all. I always wanted the more classic 520/521 look, but it may be a smarter move to go with a 620 series. These trucks are nonexistant here in Texas. I had this one shipped in from California. Rust free, but interior was trash and the windshield was unuseable. Of course I was not told that when I bought it from the original owner. The interior I don't mind since I want it all customized anyway, but this glass deal is getting to be a pain. Maybe I should pay the 3-5K for a nice restored one if I really want one of these. I also own a 1971 240z I have converted over to fuel injection and turbo, a 1000hp Grand National, as well as a few daily drivers. See the Z at http://home.flash.net/~joeao/greg/zcar.html 

The truck was meant to be a weekend play toy, but not sure about where to go from here.
