Hi, got a 94Q with a crack in the windshield. When I call the “Windshields-R-Us”, guys they say that the correct replacement (for dealership quality) is LOF. I though it was PPG?!! Does anyone, preferably you tech’s like Q45Tech, know what brand and model of glass I need to get a good quality windshield glass?? Thanks,

Stephen

I have always insisted on an OEM replacement since I've heard of some horror stories of others not fitting well, causing the installer to scrape too much on the window channel and cause hidden rust to form! Also, the OEM glass comes in different tint colors (in the band at the top of the windshield) to match your car's color. Q45Tech mentioned one other vendor that he's had some success with, but he'll have to fill you in on it - I don't remember for sure.
