Windshield fluid reservoir

I have a 1992 Nissan 240SX SE Convertible that is in good condition considering it is 16 years old. There are only minor problems that I need to fix on it, such as the windshield fluid reservoir. I noticed that when I press the button to dispense water onto the windshield nothing comes out. The wipers go into action, but I am left in the dry. I refilled the system with fluid, so I already know it is full and that is not the cause. I wonder how costly it is to replace this? It would be so much easier than having to stop and pour water on the windshield by hand every time I wish to clean it off.

Lift the hood and check the hose connections first. Mine wouldn't work one time and the hoses were loose.
