Sorry, had to put that last part in the title.
So I had today off because it's my birfday, so I went and got my oil change/tire rotation done. Then I picked up some new wiper blades at Pep Boys (ProLine blades, since the Bosch Icons are no more and these were buy 1 get 1 free) because the OEM ones are garbage. After putting on the ginormous driver side blade, I was putting on the passenger side blade and the arm slipped out of my hand. It smacked down on the windshield and left a nice 10" long crack running up the windshield. So if you've ever wondered such a thing, a new OEM-ish windshield runs about $250 installed. And I have to go pick up a new gasket for the top of the windshield at the dealership for about $20. At least now I won't have to perform the grueling task of washing the inside of the windshield, I hope.
Coincidentally, yesterday I requested my $250 rewards check from my credit card. Quite honestly, I think the windshield breaking thing is a credit card company conspiracy.
Yeah, so I know one of you wants to buy my practically new Injen intake to help offset the cost of this new windshield. Don't like the price? Make an offer.
