no, but my side mirrors confuse me, its hard for me to see the back with those mirrors, they kinda make your eyes get twisted or something, but its more distracting then helpful.

This is normal, but only to a certain degree... how far up from the bottom does the distortion go?

no car i've ever driven had distortion, but i'd say a good 4 inches or so.

I guess it depends on the shape of the windshield, because some cars have a slight amount of distortion, while others don't. My father's Jeep Wrangler has zero distortion (completely flat pane of glass). I would ask the dealer to let you sit in a few other Versas, and compare them.

while test driving a versa my wife saw some distortion in the windshield. drove her insane. (no pun intended)

convinced her to drive another versa and it didn't have the distortion.

nor does the one we bought.

well even if i did sit in other Vs at the dealer, what would they do if the others didn't have distortion - doubt they would fix it under warranty (or would that be covered do ya think)

I doubt they would, unless the distortion was right in front of the driver, in their normal field of driving vision.

They won't cover "cosmetics" under warranty, but you can bet that if it's a safety issue, they'll take notice.
