Been dealing with water issues. Replaced the sunroof drain caps, cleaned out various under the hood drains. When I had the windshield cowl cover (passenger/right side) off, I noticed the seal at the top of the cowl and presses against the bottom of the windshield was worn out and torn in some spots.

I have had no luck in finding the seal, chatting with a local dealership they said all they saw was the entire cowl trim piece. Seems ridiculous to replace the entire cowl for a small strip of seal when it's near $300.

Has anyone had any luck finding just the seal or a suitable replacement that fits in that tract and will function properly? I believe water is getting through the seal on that side, and directly under it is the opening to the in-cabin air filter causing water to get in the dash. The entire cowl is Part Number: 66862-JK60D. Thanks!

I had the same issue with the my 09 FX50. The original seal is just a foam rope seal. Go to lowes or homedepot and buy something like this. Works perfectly.

Thanks, something like this is exactly what I was thinking as an alternative if the seal was truly not out there.
