On my 1991 240sx my wipers only run on normal and high speed they don't on the intermittent setting. They also dont go to the bottom when i turn them off. I checked the switch and everything seemed to be fine, but I am going to check it again. If anyone has recommendations on what else to check let me know please.ThanksB

Possible switch failure. Also may be your Time Control Unit.

I checked the switch and is seems fine, I also checked the tcu and the switch about 3 months ago and both seemed to do what they were supposed to do. the switch varied the resistance in intermittent. the tcu would make voltage at the right intervals. this leads me to suspect something else. I know there is a relay but are there other components i should be suspicious of. Also am i to understand that all motors are the same from a 91 hatch (my car) to a 98 maxima and all others. That would save me some junkyard time in that aspect at least. My wipers squeek and it isn't the blades so I was wondering if there are lube points on the motor or linkage. Also if anyone has a more thorough test for the switch or tcu i would appreciate that. Thanks so muchBryce
