On my 1991 240sx my wipers don't work in intermittent(sp?) and they don't reset back to the bottom of the windsheild when i turn them off. I was wondering if anyone has ahad a similar problem and has a suggestion.thanks,Bryce

try replacing the wiper motor, i have one on the way to me cuz my wipers move very slooooooooooooooooooow. :)

they are very cheap to buy on ebay for a used unit, a worth a shot to replace for the replace. from what i've read, any motor from a nissan will fit except from a truck because they're longer.

i have a 93 motor on the way for my 89.

If intermittent isn't working I think you have a relay problem, if the blades aren't going all the way down there might be a linkage problem.

My '91 intermittent work speratically. I figured it was the relay but I haven't bothered looking for it. Does anyone know if the relay is easy to reach or do I need to pull the dash out to get to it?

If it was a relay problem than I think you would have more problems than just intermittent failing. I would put money on it being your combination switch on the steering column. If the switch is burnt out in one spot... that function will not work. I think you will need to replace it. Easy jobif you don't have an airbag... if you do... don't bother.
