You might as well grab a set of 4 regulators from the junkyard because once you remove the first one you'll be an expert at it and the next 3 won't take long at all. I sold at least 6-8 of these and all worked like new once they were cleaned up of 15 yrs. of dirt and lubricated. I also discarded 4 or 5 because they were broken so yours is a common problem.
Look for one with all 4 white plastic cable attachment pieces intact and with a cable that is not fraying. Of course you'll be lucky to see any of this until you've removed the regulator from the door interior. In the pic you see two below on the guide rail and two above attached to the pulley assembly. The window motor has been removed from this regulator assembly.
The second pic is of a common failure point. The white piece on the right has its tip broken off and it won't attach to the frame like the cable on the left. This assembly is spring loaded and if it's broke the window grinds and won't fully roll up. A frayed cable that will eventually snap, leaving the window in the down position, is the other failure point.
Get a regulator that's not broken (probably don't need the motor, 3 screws to remove), clean it up with brake parts cleaner and simple green, lube it good with penetrant until everything slides smoothly, and coat it all in lithium grease and your used regulator will work like new.
