my drivers side window will not roll down on my 95 240when i press the button it makes a "click"and thats it. but my passenger window works fine.

anyone know what the problem is?(window motor??) where could i get one? i already checked the classifieds and didnt find anything

I have had that problem, it's not the motor is the "regulator" which is the term they give to the slider/rail system the window attaches to. there's some pics of some here:zerothread?id=455666

I pulled one from the junkyard for like $60 I think.

leave it alone, it'll fix itself. well mine did. the click you hear is coming from the window amp. i tried a known working amp, changed the window motor, new switches, all to no avail. direct power from the battery to the motor would make it go up and down, but everything hooked up like it was factory wasn't working.

then one day i hit the switch by accident and now it's working. don't ask me why, but i'm not fixing what's not broken.

Happened to me. I got lucky and after about 3 weeks of it someone tried to break into my car. Because it was a well lit street they failed. They shattered the window, but the tint film held it mostly together so they didn't take the time to loot it.

The shop that replaced it under insurance assumed that the motor was broken either in the incident or during their work so they just replaced it too.

okay, but im guessing s13 regulators dont fit s14s though.and thats a lot cheaper then motors!
