So this morning I go to turn my 94' Q on and, nothing.Battery is dead. Bought a new one , fired right up.

BUt now my windows do not work, the controls for the seats dont work, the "airbag " light flashes all the time , remote does not work ,and when I open the door the security light flashes faster than usual.

The thelescopic controls work fine manually , memory does not work.

I tried to re-set it with the steps from another tread :

Open driver doorTurn key to on positionTurn back all the way but, dont remove.Wait one min. Open door.

It didnt work .

I need help guys!!!Thanks a bunch!

If your seats and locks option doesnt work...most likely water got into your window and shorted out your master control switch. Pretty easy DIY, remember in order to take the door panel off, you need to slip the arm rest towards the rear of the car; to where you will see the screws that hold the panel to the door. To make sure it is your Master Control Switch, see if your windows work, but your locks and seat control doesn't. This happened to me.

Sometimes one of the main fuses will fail, especially if you accidentally mishandle the battery or something like that... CHeck the main fuses

Problem fixed.

It was very simple.

What happend was that about 2 weeks ago my rear driver side regulator went out , so I took all the guts out (regulator, motor) and did not put it back on.A week and a half went by without a problem , then all of a suddenmy battery went dead , and the problems started. No power windows, locks, remote unit, power seats.

It turns out the BCM was not getting any signal from the motor/regulator I removed So , this morning I hooked the window motor/regulator back up and everything works just fine.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone.Hopefuly this will help somebody else.

The older German cars are not that bad. It's the new ones that are falling apart....
