windows roll down automatically

My wife was sitting in her 04 maxima listening to the radio when all of a sudden her windows rolled down. all of em'. anyone got any insight on this!?

I've heard about front windows inadvertently rolling down but not on all four. So problem with the the Remote Control can be discounted. The components common to all windows are - driver side control module, Remote Control Receiver, Body Control Module (BCM) and of course the wiring harness/grounding.

It's possible that rain water had migrated into the driver side control module wiring but usually this affects the front windows. So need confirmation that all 4 windows went down.

EDIT: I just tried it on 06M and 03Q, if you hold the Unlock button long enough, the rear windows will eventually open too. So that means, a defective Remote Control is possible. If you have more than one RC, disable the current one (remove the battery), use the 2nd one and see if it happens again. It's possible the problem could be due to internal defect or just dirt/gunk inside the RC.
