windows replacement 1990 pathfinder

I am replacing some windows and the rear hatch glass in my 1990 nissan pathfinder SE. I have the glass and doors apart and am just wondering if there are any secrets or hidden problems in this project that I should know about. It looks pretty strait forward but who knows. One question I do have is for the rear door do I put the rear vent glass in first or do I put the main glass in first. Also do I need to remove the glass channel to do the rear door glass.
