windows rail/guide not sealing, quick question?

quick question, cant be absoultely sure if this is what i need or not but hell you guys may be able to direct me in the right direction.

my right side door window is leaking because the rail/guide doesnt go into the socket? like the bar for the rail sticks out and ive taken it apart only thing thats not holding the window seal tight is becauase the part that holds the rail/bar thing is made of plastic and shattered, need a replacement one.

these diagrams everything is so small and not shown real life part images, i wish i could find a better one, looked a FSM for window and door assembly cant find this part name or number to be exact.

everyone hates that guy that keeps bumping his thread but...I need to know this part, Maryland is raining terribly bad and flooding and I don't want my clean z to smell like must and leak anymore :/

You should bookmark the FSM and refer to it. If you look at this page, you can see the adjustment areas for the window. You will have to play around with it to get a better seal. There is also a guide that runs along the rear of the window that may need replaced. It is available at Z1 for $25/side. http://www.z1motorsports.com/product_in ... ts_id=4398

Yes i've been looking at the FSM over and over, but thank you so much, that part is the exact one I need to replace!

The plastic part that holds the rail tight crumbled from over time I guess so the window was just rattling and loose.

Yeah, mine is rattling too. I really don't feel like tearing the door panel off YET AGAIN though. :/

Maybe when I do front speakers.
