I've noticed this twice since yesterday...

I've gone out to my car and my windows were open. Yesterday, they were open all the way. Today they were only open an inch or 2. I must be bumping the key in my pocket. Although I don't think the doors were unlocked. Yesterday I'm pretty sure I bumped the key, because the panic alarm went off too.

Is there anyway to turn off the keyfob window opening feature? Or is this some sort of problem that needs to be fixed by the dealer?

Thanks.

How do you open or close the windows using the key fob?

Are they reprogramming it to fix a known problem? Or does their reprogramming just disable the keyfob window open feature?

Hold down the unlock button for about 7 seconds to open the windows. You can't close the windows using the keyfob. All models have it, except 2.5S base model with no additional packages.

No not for a known problem, only for the feature of the horn blowing when i locked the car. You would have to reprogram the key for any remote feature used associated with the key fob.

I wanted to post this too. I've come out from work and found my windows down, i've left my girlfriends house at 12 midnight and found my windows down. This really bothers me not only for reasons of theft, but god forbid its pouring or snowing out.

When wearing jeans, I've started to put the key fob in that little mini pocket inside the pocket (when i have one), and face the key fob buttons towards my leg. Thats been working good so far.

If you find a way to disable the feature, let me know cause i want to as well

You can't close the windows with the remote, but you can roll them down by hitting the unlock twice, holding the second time down for like 5 seconds or so. The window keeps rolling down until you let go of the button.

I had the same problem with my trunk opening automatically. I had the FOB reprogrammed and it never happened since. Sounds like your FOB is in need of a reprogram.
