I don't have the luxury of choosing my OS at work, and my job is merely facilitated by computers, not based around them. I use the OS that works with the software I need. But at home, I get picky. I want an OS that does what I tell it to, how I tell it to, when I tell it to. Which means I want Linux. But I mostly use Windows and complain vocally about it instead.flohtingPoint wrote:It's funny you say that Win2k doesn't count though, that and WinNT 4 are the only OS's that I claim as valid OS's from Microsoft. At home, I dont really care, whatever is out there is whatever I will use, I'm very low tech at home. At work, when things actually matter, I want an operating system designed with the network in mind, 2K/NT were excellent at this.
Pretty much what I was going for. So huzzah.Ace2cool wrote:I just came here to say that I read the title in Jeremy Clarkson's voice.
