Has anyone ever adjusted the window washer spray pattern?

My passenger side needs a slight adjustment to place more washer fluid on the far passenger side of the winshield.

Some of the nozzles are adjustable but the shop manual just says "use a suitable tool" If anyone has done it what "suitable tool" did you use?

Will a sewing needle work?

a suitable tool would be a paper clip/pin or whatever you can find that will fit in. Most of the time, if you just use a pin, you will find that the hole slightly gummed up and by poking in and out of each hole a few times that it was just dirty. You'll loosen up and clinging dirt and may not need an adjustment.

to adjust, just move it around while the pin is in the hole to where you think is best.
