I want to get a set of window visors for my Versa. I found two brands, Lund and AVS (Auto Vent Shade). There aren't any real good sample pics of either of these but the Lund seems a little more streamlined. Anybody have any experience with these that can make a recommendation?

(What I really wish I could find is someone who could make a custom set that includes the front port and fixed rear window. If done right that would be sharp!)

the weathertech ones look like crap in my eyes, because of the simple fact that the piece for the back window stops at the window that goes down... and it doesnt cover the little window in the back..... but if you like them, i say rock on!

We have the Weathertechs from MATS.COM on the front ONLY of our Versa. They are great! I really like the way they fit into the window channel and do not use adhesive.

I've had a set on my '01 Sentra since new and they still look like new.

Thanks for your input everybody. I ended up ordering a set of JDM stick on visors.

The WeatherTechs are nice visors, but I wanted a visor that would cover the entire rear door and not just the movable window.

At $95 they better be nice. That's a lot of dough for mundane plastic.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVWThis one is for the hatch

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...ZWDVW and this for the sedan.

I got the one for the hatch a while ago because it was the only one available at the time and then I cut the back door visors so it would fit my Sedan.

It's a case of "you get what you pay for".

But, then again, I spent over $500 on seat covers too.

Also I tend to keep my vehicles till the wheels fall off. The Nissan 180 V was not my first choice, but it was cheap, gets good mpg, and allows me to park in the front part of the parking lot at work.

Here's one eBay visor that you SHOULDN'T buy:

http://cgi.ebay.ca/Nissan-Vers...wItem

I received mine and 3 out of the 4 arrived broken. Possible reasons: poor handling and thin plastic.

However, the seller was really kind and responsible in compensating my loss.

I looked at those ebay visors. Check out the feedback. My take is that many of the people are saying the visors are only an "ok" product. For $19 for a full set I wouldn't expect much in the way of quality.

I just got an email stating that my JDM visors from The Nismo Shop are on backorder

I got my car tinted too (rear doors and hatch only; fronts are illegal where I live) and I also noticed that there's a fair bit of a difference in interior temperatures.

Speaking of pics, I've owned the car for 2.5 months now and haven't taken any decent pics of it yet!

I guess with visors, you do get what you pay for. I'm hesitant on ordering a set from my dealer because it's $100 a set. Assuming they're Nissan OEM ones, does that mean they're JDM?

Never mind about the JDM comment. I was just a little confused about a previous post that talked about Nismo Shop carrying JDM visors. Perhaps I needed more coffee.
