window trim rust

hey all the windows on my truck have rust on the trim around it. i doubt this is fixable but i was wondering if anyone knew anywhere i could get new pieces or even new chrome pieces.

only place u can get the stock ones is at the dealer 125 a pc, but if you buy all 4 ask them for the 15% off, this is not tax or ne thing like that if you spend a certain amount like over 5 or 6 they might give it to u,

their might be chrome ones but not sure, check kijiji.ca and search chrome side pillars , it might come up i seen some ad on their with some guy making custom stuff ( trim pcs)

I haven't asked this question, but is this what people refer to when they mention that the windows rust on the edges? I thought it was actually the door skin. . haha. . I was about to take all of mine off to check and prevent.

140 for? the grill or trim pcs. if it is trim pcs all four for 140 or 140 each

im going to go down to detail king later this week and find out about the trims for sure i just put that price up from there ad. the grill i bought was this one

after numerous emails to this detail king guy, i found out that they dont sell anything for the 01 pathfinder other than grilles and rims which i can get anywhere for much cheaper. this dude wasted my time by not answering my questions properly everytime i emailed him. junk i tell you

im really not looking forward to buying those pieces at $125 a piece. there must be another way even if its just make shift. im sure even after spending that money to replace it, it will rust again.

There was another thread on this subject a few weeks ago. I'm not good at searching or linking though. Maybe someone can help.In the meantime, I just replaced all 4 window trim pieces 2 weeks ago on my 02 Pathfinder. They were pretty bad. Fortunately, the door skins were perfect. It's only the trim that rusts. It's not difficult at all. Dealer price here is around $140.00 per. I ordered them from courtesyparts.com instead. They were around $80.00 from them. Being in Canada, I had to have them sent to a relative in Virginia, to avoid the ridiculous shipping costs and duty and brokerage fees. I picked them up when I was there for a visit last month.

order them from onlyfactoryparts.com (midwaypartsteam) i think they r $73 each plus $25 4 shipping and about $86 for brokage and duty through ups i got mines last year at 83 each and even with all the fees i still saved about $140 and they came within a week too i would order from them again for sure entering nico and get a extra 10% off maybe not sure might only apply to some parts
