Window Tinting

Well i dropped my car off for window tinting today and said i would have it back by this afternoon. Turns out that they did a horrible job and now they have to redo it! What really made me mad was that the guy i dropped my car off to thought we had left and tried to peel out and almost crashed into the body shop!

I will post pics when i HOPEFULLY get it back tomorrow.

I would have went right back in an talk to someone about abusing the car. That is total BS!

Reminds me of when I bought my Mitsu Lancer. I had my 97 Firebird Formula at the time and we drove to the dealership and parked up front. We went for a test drive and when we were pulling in the dealership, I saw one of the salesmen leaning on my car like he owned it! I pulled up and asked him to remove his *** from my car or I'd take my business elsewhere. He said that he thought it was a trade-in. Then, they gave us a hard time when we said we wanted to buy it. I was about 25, and look young I guess. They said that my credit would have to be checked, but they had some used cars too...About 5-min later, they ran outside and called me Mr. so-and-so...(I have perfect credit). Kind-of pissed me off, but the wife liked the car.

Anyway, thought I'd share a story of businesses disrespecting customers' cars.

I wouldn't be leaving without a full refund man, that's just horrible, I walked back from work to the shop where I had left mine for the day of tinting... I was like, man, I'm pimpin now I only did the back 3 windows, I will have to go back to work out a deal on the two front ones as well, he quoted at 300 for the whole job, oh yeah, I went to the most expensive shop in town, lifetime warranty, I usually do my research too, good luck

well i got it finished and have the car back home now, im not sure what % they did it because i toke it to the dealership where i bought my car and they toke it over there and handled all of it because it was part of the deal when my parents got my car. Ill post pics tommrow. It was raining and it looks messy.

Yeah I would've been pissed about that and def would have left... I wouldn't buy a car at a place that treated its customers that way...

I waited while my tint was done, it only took maybe an hour but my friend did it so I was talking to him while he was tinting... I hate leaving my car anywhere and ALWAYS check the odo to make sure no one is out joy riding... Ever see Ferris Bueller...

I know you just got your car... But I know you said something about getting some new rims?

I have a set of the sport G35 Sedan wheels that have tires on them. The tires have about 80% left on the front ones and 50% left on the rear ones

I would be willing to sell them for like $700 to you for your sedan. Next time im at my storage... I will take some pictures for you.

Do not roll you windows down for a week after the tint job and never use ammonia based window cleaning products on the tints. Just in case the place didn't inform you of this vital tint info.

Damn bro, being 16 and having girls like that around... I'd be checking the "leg room" in the back seat with a few of them.

I think I'll actually be taking my car in for tint next week. It's taken a long time to find, but I think I have found the tint I've been looking for.
