window tint

I'm about to get my windows tinted, and since this is really my first car, I don't know too much about it (tried searching for it on the forums, but nothin really). I was just wandering how much you guys paid for your tint and if there are any recommendations for a brand or anything else I should know when I go to get them done or whatever. any input is appreciated. thanks
