hmm, you must be a law enforcement officer, or related to one or something... you're not afraid of being pulled over with limo tint on your whip... good luck with that!

Yes you pegged me I am LE, but just so you all know, I do not write for tint violations, against my ethics if I have something on my personal car, I DO NOT hem anyone up for the same thing. Not unless you are just ruthlessly rude.

5% all the way around. Man,..it's gonna be dark in there and a ***** when you need to back up at night....not unless you have the backup camera like I do I personally got 5% on the rear windows and 20% on both passenger and driver side.

whats up?

whats the general rule if you get a tint ticket... i know they give you a time frame to get it fixed or removed... but what if you dont want to remove the tint? can you just plead guilty to the ticket and pay a fine? and im thinking since its not a moving violation per say... will it add points to your license?

can anyone elaborate on this?? any details or stories of personal experience?

Well I can't speak for NY but here in Middle TN, our general rule is you have to remove it, even if you pay it. most people come before their court date and show their vehicle to a clerk and it gets dismissed, a receipt is necessary as well. I'd say if you got a tint ticket, it has no affect on your actual driving record, so mail it in, if you want to keep the tint that is. But watch where you hang out, because chances are that same cop will remember you.
