Has anyone had any tickets form the side windows being tinted?

yes. had 20% all around got busted, took it off and the ticket was dropped. all i can say is dont go by speed traps or speed at all.

I got 30 % on front ans sides, and 15% in rear, looks awesome and better than that look even throughout

i have 20% all the way around on my blk coupe and i got pulled over the first week for speeding. lucky me he only gave me a fix it ticket for the tint and no speeding ticket! he did say that it did look good though haha

im in ct. i had 20% all around got pulled over, ticket and had to rip them off but they didnt make me take my back window off just the sides got it inspected put them right back on the same day. then got pulled over again for 20% so ripped them off got inspection and they made me rip off the back window too, so later that day i got 5% put back on all around. got pulled over with the 5% had to rip them off and went back to the tint shop and got double limo put on 2x5%. and havnet had a tiket since. then a sold it year later.

I have just the lame 35% (whatever the max is in OR) on the rear/sides.... so, no tickets. Wish it was darker though. Was thinking about going back to the same shop and telling them to do the front the same shade.Anybody know if any old shop will do the work if you are paying? I assume they will do so and just give you some pat warning "we will do it, but we aren't liable if you get pulled over". Guess I'll find out when I call them up.

Oh yeah. But here in VA, it has to be a second offense for you to be ticketed for tints, or even pulled over for them. When I got my ticket, I told the officer that it had to be a second offense. So, they searched my car and said that it reeks marijuana. ( Which was complete BS because i came back from Europe the day before) . So anyway I was like what the hell, so i went to court and got away... Ever since I've had my G, the cops dont even care to give me tickets, just compliments, even with the 6% tint all around
