window tint samples

I'm currently debating rather to get 35% tint or 20% on the back windows and rear. Can anyone post a couple sample shots of their window tinted and state what %? Thanks a lot.

If you go to the 20%, the first time you run over somebody backing out of your driveway at night because you couldn't see them, you'll wish you'd stayed with 35%.

35 or 20% isnt really that dark in reality, this could be due to the fact i live in florida but who knows.

i currently have 15% all around on mine, i can show pics later, @ night i think its just dark enough without being too dark, my previous cars i've always went with 5% (limo) but that in the end was very dark at night and i didnt want that this time around.

How about an ambulance driver who can't see if there is only one person in the car or maybe there are 5. or maybe someone is slumped down on the floor but you can't see inside (it HAS happened). Those are the exact reasons lots of places don't allow front window tinting.

no, 5% is illegal, and i agree it isnt the safest idea, hence the reason why i wouldnt do it again.

in florida, 15% is legal on everything except the front windows where its 28%.

I went with 35% and the darkness is enough to give privacy but also easy enough to see out of at night. I kept within the limits of the law, no tint on the front windows. http://members.cox.net/cnsmike

15% is what i had on my old versa.. looked great!!! i was thinking about 5% on my new V. but i'm having second thoughts. What kinda tint do u have br4dysays?? I was gona go with 3m.

lol i have 5% all around and 50% on the windshield.

My car is black and you cant tell a difference between the paint and the window tint, gonna get my wheels powdercoated this week and black out my kouki 180's.

The tint looks good!

If you have a dark colored V with black interior, (black), if you go with 35% all around, or even 20%, your tint is gonna look darker anyway.

It just depends on the color of ur interior and exterior.

Here in Georgia, I wouldn't go past 20% really, cause 32% all around is the limit here. If ur V is black on black, it'll look even darker, pushing it with cops.
