Hi everyone,

My window seal, where the top meets the windshield, on the driverside, started leaking randomly, probably due to the high amount of rain we had here in Portland. Now, because of the unexpected leak, I believe it is the window that is now not forming a good seal where the rubber joint is, and I wanted to adjust it. Does anyone have any tips, or advice, or instructions?

Thank you

Nothing I've seen for adjustment. Would normally require new rubber seals. Not a clue where to get them at this point. Hopefully someone else has more experience with it.

I'm confused as to which part is leaking... Shoot us a couple pictures.

I've messed with "leak management" on a couple S13 verts.

Its where the top meets a-pillar. Looking at the Vert FSM the windows can be adjusted. And the reason I believe it is a window problem is because i have not put the top down in a while, however, I have rolled down my window, and the leak started for no apparent reason except for probably the fact that I have rolled my window down and that is it.

Try dialing the hooks IN one turn and see if it helps. The top latches can get loose after a while.

Actually, there a reason for that. Window was pushing the frame up making bigger gap. Yeah, give the hook a couple of turns and see. If it bottoms out and you can't turn anymore, take the hook out and grind the end. I think hex bolt is securing the hook, so you must un-screw it first otherwise you will break the hook.

Thank you I was thinking of doing exactly that. My hook is already bottomed out so Ill try grinding it down. I took a look at the window and it looks fine to me, but I seriously hope it is not the seals that are worn out.

Still leaking after the hook was tightened up. Im not sure what else to do. Once it stops raining Ill try to waterproof the fabric and maybe adjust the window. It seems like the leak is coming from inside of the seals instead of the exterior/visible side.
