I'm not sure if anyone is familiar with this but my car was broken into by having the window smashed out. Yeah, it really sucked. When I went to have the glass replaced in the driver side door they said that they needed to replace the "window regulator" as well? Of course my insurance covers the glass but not the regulator so i just want to know if someone breaking the glass automatically breaks the regulator or is it possible that the people who replaced the glass broke it?

Never heard of it. My window...well...not in the rogue but in different cars was smashed twice and been replaced without any additions like regulator. You should find out if they had to replace your gas tank as well?

Haha yeah its crazy on what you can believe from them. I'll just have to pay it and hope for the best
