New to the forum needed a little help with a window issue. 03 G35 Coupe Automatic 107k miles.
I replaced the window motor when I first got the car as the last owner had taken it out and it worked perfectly fine with the new replacement. Than I got tired of the a/c being on constantly because of stock radio issue (which is now fixed, new radio) so I was messing with the blower fuses and since than my windows work on and off randomly. If I mess with the blower fuses like pull them out and put them back in, it turns the windows back on momentarily but after a couple seconds they stop working again. Is there a relay that controls the window switch that might need to be replaced??

any help is greatly appreciated.

You would probably have to trace the electrical system to see if there is some common component involved. I really don't know. You can use the FSM to start tracing the issue from the windows side.

was reading around the other day and came across a post saying that if everything seems fine, fuses etc that might be the door harness. I open the door pull on the harness a bit and what do you know hasn't failed till now to get the windows working. Would that mean theres a bare wire in there touching something or how would I go about resolving?

More likely a poor connection or corrosion on a connector from moisture getting in there.

Take it apart and inspect.

Good luck

Have to look up how to get to it, most likely corrosion as the car was sitting for a little from previous owner and he had the window just hanging without the regulator or motor. I've been wiggling it around were the wires go through the fender and seems to have stayed on as of now. Even seals my windows tight now instead of leaving a gap. plus remote worked to lower them. I'll have to look up how to get to that connector.
