I wanted to ask if anyone else has had a problem with their 95 240 power window motors? My sister owned my car before me and the drivers side motor went out on her so she bought a motor from a salvage lot (now not even 2 months later) its went out again and the passenger side has to be pulled up if someone lets it down. I dont want to spend lots of money on this but MY WINDOWS DONT WORK that sucks in south georgia its to hot for just A/C lol please help

heres what went wrong with my window, but mine was DS... if you take the panel off the driver door you see a black box with a connection junction on it, take the connector off and then take a flat screw driver, and bend the terminals closer together...or top row down bottom row up, just a little bit, and it should work...you may just be loosing the electrical connection?

It could be the window amplifier thing like wickedpelf said, that box where all the connections go into. That was the problem in my case, but only my passenger side worked and not the driver side.

Now for having to pull up the window when its down, i have the exact same problem for both sides and it is sooooo damn annoying. Im guessing its the regulator or something. Not sure, i would like to know whats wrong too

I have a 96 and mine did the same thing. Mine was kind of odd but I got it fixed for like $.03. When you take off the door panel you can see the motor spin when you push the button. The motor was attached to a sort of rubber bushing that connected to a spindle. When the window went up and down the spindle spun, but what happened was the bushing connecting the motor and spindle ripped! So i just welded the spindle to the rotating part of the motor with a peice of flat bar. It sounds like crap but my god it gets hot down here.

Can you hear the motor turn at all? If you can and the window doesn't move try my little trick
