Hey guys,

My driver side window motor is dead, and I believe it's under warranty. I have test pipes on my G which voids my warranty. They wouldn't for any reason check would they?

If your still under warranty for the window motor, having test pipes would not keep Infiniti from fixing it.
They would have to say that the test pipes caused the window motor to fail.
If anything were to fail on your drive train, you can bet they would blame the test pipes and deny the waranty fix.

but if I didn't ask them to look at anything else. Do you think they would randomly check and lift the car?

If you're in the USA they couldn't deny your window warranty because of modified exhaust per the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act... the parts are unrelated. You're good to go

I called and I missed the warranty by 3,000 miles anyways.... Say it's gonna cost me $460 to get a new motor. I'm probably just gonna buy one off Ebay and do it myself

Our sponsors can usually get the OEM part cheaper than a regular dealership, check with them.

Easy fix. I bought a rebuilt motor from Advance for $134 and installed it myself. Check on this site for a how-to and the final reset that you need to do when finishing up. Also do yourself a favor, open both doors and then disconnect ground cable from the battery.

Have fun.
