Anyone have problems with their driver side window motors going on 84-88 300's? The reason I ask is bc mine went abt 4 yrs ago, and I finally decided it abt time to replace it. Checked out the dealer cost and it's just under 600 for just the motor! I went to a few local junk yards and pulled two from a couple of wrecks. Both motors were shot. When I opened them up theres a rubber gasket that cracked in all of the motors. Anyone come across this and know of any cheap remedies?

I have a spare door with a good motor I could pull the motor and sell you if interested, the door was an 86, I actually used the other 86 doon on my 87 which had a bad window motor in it, wierd, maybe I should hang on to it

Definitely is.. The strange thing is that all the passenger motors I pulled were fine.... the driver side motors were the ones with the cracked rubber gasket.

I would def be interested if it's good and driver side... shoot me an e-mail w/ a price and details

Thanks
