Hi guys,

My window has been playing up for the past 2 weeks.

At first it didn't want to open just heard a clicking sound. Then all of a sudden it started working. After that it would wind up then automatically wind down. Then another day it was really struggling to wind up you could hear the motor slowly winding the window up. Today it wouldn't even go down??

Anyway i bought a motor for it to be installed. What do you guys think?

What actually goes on the motor for this to happen? Does water get to it?

I heard its quite a common problem.

Cheers

Yes, very common. I've heard that window motors on G's go out often. Both sides on mine have been replaced.

Yea mine has been playing up for the past 2 weeks it annoys me. You know when you really like something and you want to it be perfect thats me i always think about it LOL.

I received my window motor, i didn;t know that the regulator was combined with the motor. I can't seem to find the reset switch.

I pressed this black looking pointy thing covered in rubber but it doesn't make a clicking noise like a button would normally do.

Hi, can you email that door panel removal procedure to me also?Greatly appreciated! Also the programming procedure for the replacement motor, if possible. It's a 2003 if that matters. Thanks!

Don't know about infinitis but on Lexus's u have to re-time the motors and regulators for the jam protection. It's not for someone who isn't mechanically inclined.
