I have a 2009 G37S sedan. The window motor in the back on the driver side stopped working. When I click the button where the driver is or click the button on the left back door I can hear a clicking but no motor noise. I read a bunch of posts on different forums incl. this one and people recommended hitting the door where the door handle is, slam the door, etc but none of that helped. It was also suggested that if you can't hear the motor trying to do anything then the motor is bad. So I am trying to find a new motor but have some difficulties locating one. Most motors I could locate are for the front and not the back and many are also for Nissan, which might be the same as for the Infiniti but they don't say. Has anybody a part number for this motor or any other suggestion.

Depending on other model options of your car, the part number is one of the following in the link to Infinity Parts Deal.

Thanks. I narrowed it down to 3.7L, Rear-wheel drive (no AWD), Sport. it gives me 4 line items

Motor Assy-Regulator, LH
Lookup Code: 82753
Production Date: 08/2008-10/2008
80731-JK00A

Motor Assy-Regulator, LH
Lookup Code: 82753
Production Date: 10/2008-11/2009
80731-JK00B

Motor Assy-Regulator, RH
Lookup Code: 82752
80730-JK00A

Motor Assy-Regulator, RH
Lookup Code: 82752
80730-JK00B

So the last two are out because they are for the right side. So it's down to the first two but:

1) Are the motors for the front and back door the same or why is there no differentiation?
2) How do I determine the production date of my car. It's a 2009 model but I don't know when exactly it was produced. Or do both work?

Also would something like this work: shorturl.at/hNW14

The front and back door motors are different as are the driver side and passenger side motors different. (4 different motors) You have the right ones in mind for the rear driver side door but you need the manufacturing date of your car which can be found on a sticker inside the driver side door door jam. This sticker has tire pressure information and other stuff, including the manufacturing date of your car. Those two part numbers have been superseded (updated) by Infinity Part Deal. The 80731-JK00B is now 80731-JK00C for your car if built between 10/01/08 and 11/01/09, according to Infinity dealership websites I just checked. The dealership sites do not even recognize the other part number so something is a bit strange here with the Infinity Parts Deal website I linked you to. If you visit the website https://www.infinitipartsdeal.com/ or a dealership website like https://www.infinitipartsdeal.com/ and enter the VIN number of your car, you will get the best identification results for parts to your car. You can always call a parts department at any dealership to confirm the part number as well.

Thanks. The sticker didn't say anything when it was built but I put in the VIN on infinitipartsdeal.com and it listed my car as 10/01/08 to 11/01/09 Sport Premium. As for the part, I see 80731-JK60B/C on infinitipartsdeal.com but you mention 80731-JK00B/C. According to parts.infinitiusa.com the JK60B/C is for the trim "Premium or Sport/P" which would match my car. Can I also use the JK00B/C you mentioned? What is different? I could get that one for $80 from Amazon instead of $240 for the JK60B/C

I don't know what the difference is but there is bound to be a mismatch. When I looked up the 80731-JK00B/C part, I plugged in Sport as the grade of your car instead of Sport Premium which you just confirmed with your VIN number. The Premium and Sport Premium take the 80731-JK60C part for the rear driver side window. You can find them used on e-bay for about $50.

Thanks. I wonder what the difference is between Sport and Sport Premium. I only heard of the 'regular' one, the S, the x and xS.

Yes, I saw the ones on Ebay. I am just reluctant to purchase those considering that they probably have been used a few years and those motors are known to have problems. I might be doing the same thing again in a year or two... :(

Premium is a package which added things like power sunroof, upgraded BOSE system, etc. More detail here: https://infinitig37.com/specs/2009_G37_Sedan_Specs.pdf
