Hey guys, i've replaced my drivers side and passenger side window motors once already and my drivers side motor has just died yet again. It was a rock auto refurbished model. I drive an 08 350z anyone else having any issues?

As far as I knew the problem was limited to the '03-'04 models. Makes me worry about my '05 now...especially since spring is in full swing and summer is around the corner.

How long have the ones from Rock Auto been in your car? If it's not been too long I imagine they'd replace them.

the first two were nissan motors, and this new one to die was a rock auto motor that was in the car just over a year. It seems like each spring when the car comes out of storage a motor dies

How are your window seals? Any chance something could be getting inside the door panel(s) and getting to the motor or the wiring? I know when I'm lazy and I go through a touchless car wash I get an the occasional drop or two of water on the driver side door sill.

i installed the new motor today without a hitch, there was no sign of moisture or any leakage points in the door.

It's gotta be some sort of wiring/ground issue going on in there.

Electrical gremlins are the suxorz. Image

I hadn't even thought about that, maybe my reptillian mind figured you already tried it. Image
