Window motor How do I ????

I've got a 95 s14 with a bad drivers side window motor. I've already confirmed that the switch, relay & wiring is good. I've only been able to get to the "can" that houses the motor. I removed the can and found the motor to be binding at points. I reassembled & it worked for 2 cycles then stopped again. Mototr gets warm to the touch. Am I missing something?The worm gear was clean and free of defects. My question is: how do I remove the whole assembly & replace the motor??

Just an update on my repair. After removing the door panel, it appeared to me that there was more to removing the window than it appeared. Not only is there 2 bolts attached to the glass & track, but there are 2 plastic "bumbers" screwed to the glass and a couple of padded guides/glides in the way. After I started to remove all of this, I realized it was not necessary to remove the glass. What I did do was remove the approx. 6" piece screwed to the door, unplug the motor, remove the 4 bolts holding the motor to the door, and then move/swing the entire motor/regulator assembly as needed. I then removed the left regulator to glass nut at which point the assembly could be moved anywhere you like to facilitate lowering/moving the glass to access the other glass to regulator screw on the right. Upon removal, you may then simply remove the entire assembly from the door and be careful to lower the glass to a safe supported position. This was a good time to check the entire regulator track assembly for problems. Mine was fine. This took all of 10 minutes by trial & error. I then swapped out the motor, tested it, & re-assembled. I first re-attached the glass to regulator nuts, then attached the 6" piece to the door, then the motor assembly to the door with the last 4 screws. I then slowly tested and confirmed full smooth operation & finished up. One thing I'd like to add is to remove your stereo speaker as well to facilitate working space. Total time including clean up was about 45 minutes. That grease is hard to get off the glass!! LOL.You'll need a large Phillips head screwdriver, a socket wrench with a short extension & a 10mm & 12mm socket as well will really speed things up.

I purchased my replacement motor from Napaonline.com for $134 +16.50 core+5.00 shipping+10.50 tax. The motor is a rebuilt which I didn't know till it arrived. Website states nothing about that. They also lost my order originally & sent it to someone else! Still took just 1 week to receive.
