I have an 04 G35 Coupe & already had to replace my passenger side window motor (typical at 150k miles) and now my driver side motor is acting up but its not doing what the passenger side did. Before I had to replace the passenger side it just didnt work at all, the driver side window sometimes works, sometimes doesnt and sometimes if I open my door then close it a few times the window will start moving again and be working, as if its catching something when I close the door. Anyone have any ideas? Maybe just go ahead and get a new motor for driver side?

Check the wires that pass from the door frame into the door - through the rubber boot. (I believe you can just pull the boot from the door frame to inspect them...) Look for frayed wires or cracked insulation.
