My button broke on my drivers side 2006, M35. I can get a hold of a new main switch panel, but does anybody know how to remove it from the arm rest? Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum.

Panel removal should be documented in the FAQ thread in my signature (probably one of the interior articles) or in the FSM (also in the FAQ).

So I looked at the links that you mentioned but it talks about removing the whole panel off the door. Do I need to do this just to change the switch panel for the windows that located on the door armrest?

If anybody has an experience in replacing the drivers side window switch panel, please let me know. Not being able to roll down my window while driving, is driving me nuts.

That I'm not sure about, hopefully one of your guys here can help you out. I know on the Maxima I was able to so I would be pissed if that's not the case here lol. Like PISSED.

I think sometimes manufacturers make it hard to do basic tasks just so they can get people in their service departments...like changing a headlight bulb. Used to be you opened the hood, replaced the bulb, closed the hood. 2 minutes. Now it's an hour job, gotta jack the car up, remove the wheel well liner, scratch your hands, etc. lol.

Hopefully someone chimes in for ya.

So, yes, you need to remove the panel to access the switchboard this car. Remove the panel, then flip it over and unscrew the switch.
On the plus side, you only have to fuss with 3 screws hidden under 2 panel covers (one under the armrest anf the other behind the door handle) then give the panel a healthy tug to release the push clips hidden within the door panel... of course balance the panel to unclip the one or 2 major harnesses that might be holding it to the door.
I honestly thought it was one of the most convenient ones I've done.

inner door panel removal sounds daunting, but it's not.
took me a little time the first time I did it, but now I can remove it in under 5 minutes.

if you look in the M37/M56/Q70 How To & FAQs, you can see my post on how to remove your door panel.
The M35/45 should be almost exactly the same.

good luck!
