I have the manual windows, and its just refuses to roll up and down, certain points are movable, but most of the time it requires massive amounts of force just to get it to budge.

I tried to remove the door panel today, however I couldn't get it off completely because the manual lever was in the way.

The guides only show power windows and the FSM doesn't seem to say anything specific about this. Any ideas?

there is a C style clip that holds the handles in place..you can get to it with a modifyed flathead screwdriver..since the clip is on the back side..you will need to bend the junk screwdriver to make a small hook on the flat end..this end will allow you to hook the round part of the clip from behind the handle when you slightly push on the panel to expose it..hope this helps.

Ah I see....when you say the clip is on the back side, is it on the backside of the plastic door panel or the actual metal part of the door?

it's connecting the plastic handle to the metal rod or the regulator..just slightly push on the door panel and rotate the handle till ya see the top of the clip....hook that clip..pull up and handle slides off.

Go the handle off, thanks liquid

So, my original reason for taking this all of was due to my window not rolling, which after taking off the panel fully, I'm still not sure why....is it just old, seized, and needing replacement?

Lube up the linkages and make sure that the bolts that hold the bottom of the window aren't loose.
