It sucks to do all this work and get precisely nowhere. Anyways, summary I was rollin my window up one day and it kinda stuck halfway and made that noise, so I "helped" the window up by pulling on it and it went the rest of the way up. I rolled it back down to see what would happen and it went all the way back down then made that noise. Then I rolled it back up, and it did the same thing, got stuck, but I helped it back up. After that it was completely inoperable.

I went and bought a used motor/regulator from a 2+2 and put it on my car (2+0) after I tested the motor to verify it worked. I only swapped the motor onto my old regulator. I didn't think the regulator would need replacing because it looked good so I cleaned it and lubed it and put the new motor on, then reinstalled, and the SAME EXACT THING is happening again.

What could it be? Regulator? Would a 2+2 regulator fit on mine?

OH, to make it even better, I tested the old motor after I made this video and it worked fine

Tried the other regulator now, and the same exact problem occurs STILL. What could it be? Something possibly causing a resistance in the track.....I don't know this is frustrating. Good news is I can R&R this regulator in 15 minutes now; I've just been driving around with my door panel removed and it sucks.

I went to a specialty shop today (that pretty much runs the Z repair business out here) and the owner of the place told me he was 99% sure it's the motors. He knew exactly what I was talking about when I said it clicked and gets stuck and I have to help it up.

I don't have $160 to shell out for a damn reman'd window motor. Does anybody know if it's possible to rebuild them or replace internals by yourself? Does anybody know what's actually inside them? Haha I hate what a crappy dealio I'm in.
