Window electrical question '94 Q

My left rear window does not roll down, with the console switches.

The door does not lock with the remote, or the electrical switches.

The window will roll up and down with the door switch, even if the car is off!

It is also causing my lights to not flash, when I lock the doors, with the remote.

Is this some kind of electrical window controller problem, or a wiring harness problem?

Has anyone ever seen something like this, before?

Is this processor in the door? (I kinda feel stupid, right now)

Its like a computer that controls ALL that stuff....

BCM, its located up by the top of the brake pedal. NO fun to get it out.....

It might be worth trying to get that out and try swapping it. I dont know if theres a seperate computer for the LAN, as I think the LAN is part of the BCM, meaning you gotta replace the BCM to get the LAN fixed.

I dont know for sure since i dont have my FSMs with me.

Jeff. THere are no computers or things of that nature inside the doors, justd wiring harnesses and stuff like that.

Wes, there is a LAN controller, on eBay for sale. Do you think I should get it? What kinda cost are these? It seems like a cheap fix, if I can get this one, and it solves my problem.

The CD I got from Brian, with the servcie manual and TSB's is not erading in my CD player.

If you ahve time, can you burn me a copy?

RE: lan controller, whats the auction, let me see it. IF its around $$50, its worth a shot IMO. These are ultra expensive new.

My 94 has similar situation, but comes and goes mostly goes. When there, window and locks do not work on that door-window neither from console or door.

Usually a door slam and its gone.

I haven't tried to slam the door.

I do know, if I slam the front passenger door, it will lock all my doors. i have unplugged, and re-plugged the connections, and it goes away for about 3 to 4 months.

I'll get the door apart, and use some electronics cleaner on the connections, and maybe some dielectric grease.

The LAN controller is at $15 on eBay. I might get it, for kicks.
