window does not lower on door opening

Just recently when I open the door the window does not drop the 10mm typical of the specification. The window raises and lowers manually but the auto feature has stopped. Is this a failure of the door ajar switch or is there something else I need to look at?

I looked at the archive and there seems to be significant discuss on motor failures, but I don't know if this fits into that area.

Have you tried the window reset? If you go through this procedure I'm certain it will cure problem.
