Hey everyone, new to the site, hoping to get into contact with some good people on here..

anyway, I was attempting to take off my door panel for speaker installation and i've got the window crank setup. As I removed the handle the window crank pin went shooting off somewhere (as it famously does) and I can't find it in my gravel driveway for the life of me. Where's the best place to get a new window crank pin... are they specific to the vehicle? or can i just pick something up at advance auto...

thanks for the help

Shucks/autozone/any parts store. They sell them in like a 5 pack under the HELP! brand name.

Those always do that, if you have an old car speaker keep it handy to sweep the area for small flying metal things. You may not see it but the magnet on a speaker will grab it.

I know it is to late to help now but when removing spring loaded stuff I always get a grip on it then cover with a hand rag to catch it. Rear brake springs are the worse, they can take an eye out.
